SAI SAVANT-2 SRI SAI PADANANDA RADHAKRISHNA SWAMI

Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji was born in Poyyamani Village in Kulithalai Taluk of Trichy District of Tamil Nadu on 15th April 1906.

In 1952, Sri Narasimha Swamiji deputed Radhakrishnan to Bangalore for Sai Prachar work in Karnataka. It was in 1953 Sri Narasimha Swamiji conferred the title "Saipadananda" on him. That was the Guru's accolade to his devoted disciple.The Guru attained "Nirvan" on 19.10.1956 and on that Poornima Day transferred all his "Spiritual" powers to Radhakrishnan. Sai Baba gave Self Realisation to Sri Narasimha Swamiji on 29.8.1936. That Sai treasure was given in toto to Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji on the day Sri Narasimha Swamiji cast off his mortal coil.ABOUT SWAMIJI..Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji was born in Poyyamani Village in Kulithalai Taluk of Trichy District of Tamil Nadu on 15th April 1906.Even as a child, young Radhakrishna had developed Psychic power and divine influence. He was a nature lover and it accentuated and kindled his spiritual thirst and development. He began meeting Sadhus and Holy Persons and visited temples far and near besides reading books on religion and the great saints and seers of India.
Search for a GuruThe Kanchi Mutt and Kanchi Acharya had a great influence in moulding Radhakrishnan's personality. When one of his brothers was in Poona, young Radhakrishnan stayed with him and made extensive tours of religious places in and around Poona. He lived in one of the caves for 48 days and on the 46th day, Dattathreya appeared before him and asked him to remain in the world helping others.He widely read books on saints like Raghavendra, Sadashiva Brahmendra, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu etc.
He met Ramana Maharshi and Seshadri Swamigal at Thiruvannamalai. The latter gave Radhakrishnan three stones and asked him to cook and eat them. The former interpreted this that he should go beyond the THREE GUNAS Meeting the Guru In 1927, he met Narayana Maharaj of Khedgaon at Ooty. He initiated him into "Datta Mantra". In 1942, he met Sri Narasimha Swamiji and his search for the "Guru" was over. He became a spiritual heir to Sri Narasimha Swamiji.There was a deep Psychological Crisis in his life during 1936-42. He had even contemplated suicide while travelling on a train from Trichy to Madras. As the train was crossing the Coleroon River near Chidambaram, he opened the door and was about to jump into the river when he felt somebody was pulling his back. He saw an old man with a headgear asking him not to do it as he had a mission in life. Later, he realised that it was Baba.Meeting the GuruIn 1942, Radhakrishnan met Sri Narasimha Swamiji in dramatic circumstances. It is not known when exactly Radhakrishnan came to Madras after he accepted Sri Narasimha Swamiji as his Guru. It maybe in 1943 or 1944.
He was a voracious reader and his favourite haunt was the Theosophical Society at Adayar, Chennai. He used to practise meditation and a Sanskrit book "Mantra Mahodari" was his constant companion. He supervised the accounts of All India Sai Samaj and helped Sri Narasimha Swamiji in other ways in his pesonal and public work. He was a man who never pushed himself up. His surrender to Sri Narasimha Swamiji was total. "Whatever Narasimha Swamiji said was law to him".

Swamiji at Bangalore
Sri Radhakrishnan Swamiji arrived in Bangalore in 1952. By 1956 shifted his lodging to an upstairs room in a house near the N.R. Colony bus stop. This also became the home of SwamijiSai Spiritual Centre and here Swamiji lived for about seven years until a permanent building for the centre was contructed.Funds for a building on the site came from devotees all over India. The building was formally opened on June 17, 1965. The centre was registered on May 6, 1970.Swamiji's Mission
Swamiji's mission in life was based on four lofty principles and his life was a symbol and practical demonstration of what he preached. The four pillars are:
1. Love
2. Guru Bhakthi
3. Devotion to God
4. Satsangh
Swamiji felt that "Nama Japa"-recitation of Vishnu Sahasra Namam is the pancea for everything and it should be repeated any number of times in a day so that it shows the way to all our problems. He instructed his devotees to read a chapter from Bhagavad Gita. He was a prolific writer. His only book was on the life of Sri Narasimha Swamiji. Swamiji was an apostle of love. His universality is depicted in the divine incantation which he wrote at Dwaraka, which epitomises his innermost feeling and concern. Here it is:
May the wicked turn good;
May the good attain peace;
May the peaceful be freed from all bondage and
May the liberated redeem others.
May everybody be happy;
May everybody be free from disease;
May everybody have good luck;
May none fall on evil days.
May everybody surmount difficulties;
May everybody have good fortune;
May everybody realise his ambitions;May everybody rejoice everywhere.Swamiji lived a full and active life. He was constantly travelling and propagating Sri Sai Baba's Teachings. He was in tune with Sai Baba all the 24 hours and his actions were in response to its motivations. There is hardly a devotee of Sri Swamiji who has not experienced his grace either spiritually or in material benefit. The devotees continue to recieve it even after he left his body.Swamiji was waiting for "Uttarayana' to leave his body. January 14, 1980 was the day he had fixed for merging with Sai Baba. He had joined devotees in chanting "Sri Vishnu Sahasra Namam" and, "Om Namo Narayanaya". Swamiji was conscious till the last and the final moment came at 10.40 p.m. as he drew his last breath with a farewell benediction. He was cremated the next day with full honours amidst chanting of Vedic Hymns.Although he is not present in flesh and blood, his devotees have felt his spiritual presence and his guidance, in times of distress and want. Many have spoken of seeing him in their dreams, encouraging them and advising on their problems. His guiding hand and loving eyes hover over every home of his devotees reminding us of Baba's Words: "Why fear when I am here".

SAI SAVANT-1 SRI B.V. NARASIMHASWAMIJI

SRI NARSIMHA SWAWI

(a life-sketch)

Sri Narasimha Swamiji is appropriately known as the Apostle of Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi. It was he who discovered Sri Sai Baba and presented him to the world of seekers and aspirants.

As Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji says in the Preface, to his great regret (and to the regret of all true seekers) Sri Narasimha Swamiji refused to write his autobiography and did not leave a full record of the course of his own spiritual quest.

Thus the  biographer was left with no option but to collect information from various sources and the picture that has emerged is necessarily in the barest outline because of paucity of biographical material. Nevertheless, the personality of the Swamiji emerges with surprising clarity.

Sri Narasimha Swamiji was born on August 21, 1874 in Bhavani in Coimbatore District in a family of orthodox Brahmins.

His parents were Sri B. Venkatagiri lyer and Smt. Angachiammal. When Sri Narasimha Swamiji was still an infant, his father moved over to Salem and set up practice as second grade pleader.

Young Narasimha lyer had a brilliant career at school and in college. He passed his B. A. Examination from the Madras Christian College and his B. L. examination from the Madras Law College.

Sri Narasimha lyer started practice in the Salem Bar in 1895 and very soon reached the top of the profession where he remained till 1925, when he voluntarily gave up practice in response to an inner call for spiritual quest.

Among his prominent contemporaries were Justice Sundaram Chettiar, Sri C. Rajagopalachari and Sri Muthukrishna lyer.

Sri Narasimha lyer interested himself in all public activities and movements of the day. In politics he was considered an extremist, being an admirer and adherent of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. His popularity won him, for two consecutive terms, the membership of the Madras Legislative Council which he gave up in 1920 in response to the call to boycott the legislatures.

When Mrs. Annie Besant started the Home Rule League, Sri Narasimha lyer became an active member. He was one of the three members of a delegation deputed to go to Great Britain in 1917 to present India's case for home rule. This dele gation was, however, detained at Gibralter on the orders of the then British war cabinet and was forced to return to India.

It was when he was still at the peak of his powers, prestige and popularity that Sri Narasimha lyer decided, in 1921, follow ing a series of domestic calamities, to give up his lucrative legal practice, cease from political and social activities and seek spiri tual solace.

In his quest, Sri Narasimha lyer first went to Sri Ramana Ashram in Tiruvannamalai where he stayed for three years doing sadhana. Later, after intense search and seeking, he found his true master in Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi, though Baba had attained Nirvana many years before Sri Narasimha lyer discovered him.

Thereafter, in an extraordinary surge of energy and incessant activity lasting over two decades, Sri Narasimha Swamiji carried on Sai prachar work throughout India, establishing the All-India Sai Samaj at Madras and Sai Mandirs almost everywhere, carrying Baba's message of peace and love and bhakti.

If today in India there is hardly a town or city where Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is not known, it is entirely due to the remarkable zeal and selfless service of Sri Narasimha Swamiji.

EIGHT FOLD PRAYER
Sai Nath, you are the ocean of compassion, embodiment of serenity, repository of cosmic intelligence, the perennial river of mercy, truth incarnate and the dispeller of the darkness of illusion (Maya)
You are the sage beyound caste and creed, the abode of compassion and beyond comprehension. O, Lord, the dweller of the village of Shirdi, protect me, protect me!
You are the river of divine knowledge, you are the bestower of knowledge, you are the cause of all auspicious actions. O Paramahansa of the hearts of all devotees! I seek refuge in you-Protect me.
You are Brahma, the creator; you are Vishnu, the sustainer of the universe; and you are Shiva, the destroyer of the three worlds.
O Sai Nath! You are omnipresent and omniscent. There is no place in the world without you and your presence is felt in everything. Every heart is your abode.
Pardon all my sins, I beseech you, O Lord! Remove immediately the cause of doubts and delusions arising in my heart.
You are the cow and I am your calf, you are the moon and I am the ray of its light. At your feet like the Ganges, I, your slave, prostrate with reverence.
Sai Nath, place the hand of your mercy on my head and ward off all sorrows and worries. This Ganu is your slave.

THE LAST DAYS OF BABA

I CAME ACROSS THIS ARTICLE IN THE WEB AND WANT TO SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE .THIS WAS WRITTEN BY POOJYA NARASIMHASWAMIJI
Prayer, worship and pilgrimage, all good be, Praise also is due, to the charitable and devoted ones. Pure are those, who meditate, and the wise ones, good are the various modes of worship, of the devotees;
But without Thy grace, they reach You not.
Nor without Thy grace, conies the inner illumination!
He alone, who has been blessed by Thy grace,
Treads the ordained path!
All powers and faculties are but a gift from Thee, And without Thy grace, nothing are They.

What Baba said in the early days of His arrival at Shirdi came literally true. Long before 1908, when Shirdi was still a quiet village, Baba said: "Mansions will rise up in this village. Bigwigs will come. Chariots, horses, elephants, all will come. Grand processions will be held." People then laughed at His naive imagination.

In 1914 Sai Baba made a very casual remark to one of His devotees. He pointed out a piece of waste land to Mrs. Bapusaheb Jog. "It is my site; a big mansion will rise up here and we shall live there. Big people would look after Me." Mrs. Jog took it as one of many inscrutable things He said.

Apparently unconnected with this remark, something equally inscrutable but more shocking happened in 1916. It was the festival of Vijayadashmi. Devotees flocked to Shirdi, to attend the ceremonial Seemollanghan.

Sai Baba suddenly flew into a wild rage. It was one of Baba's characteristic ways to flare up on such auspicious occasions. But what He did on this occasion far exceeded anything He did on any other. He took off His head-dress, Kafni, and His langota (underwear) publicly, tore them up and flung them in the sacred fire in the mosque and cursed in the heat of His rage. Bhagoji tried to pacify Him and said "Baba, what is all this about? Today is the holy day of Seemollanghan. Why are you angry and why do you frighten people thus?" Baba said, "This day is MySeemollanghan."

Bapu Saheb Booty was a famous millionaire of Nagpur. He was drawn to Baba and wished to have a building at Shirdi. One day, he had a dream in which Baba appeared and ordered him to build a wada of His own with a temple in and Shama was also sleeping there. Booty woke up and found Shama shedding tears. Shama said: Baba appeared in my dream and ordered, 'Build the wada with the temple. I shall fulfill the wishes of all.

Bapu Saheb was surprised at their dreams. Being rich enough, he immediately decided to build a wada and with the co operation of Shama and Dixit, drew up a plan. Then he placed it before Baba who blessed it immediately. Work commenced soon and under the supervision of Shama, the ground floor, the cellar and the well were completed. Off and on Baba visited the site and suggested certain improvements. It occurred to Booty that there should be an open platform in the centre, of which the Idol of Muralidhar could be installed. Booty put his idea before Baba through Shama for His consent. Baba readily gave His consent, but added, "After the temple is complete I will come and stay there." Staring at the wada, He added: "After the wada is complete, we shall use it for ourselves; we shall live, move and play there, and be happy."

The year 1918 commenced as any other and a few months passed. Uddhavesa Bua, usually visited Sai Baba every fortnight. One day, when he arrived, Baba told him not to take the trouble of visiting Him thereafter. He said the same to another Mrs. Chandrabai also in July 1918.

Not long after this, one day Sai Baba gave some boli with boiled foul to Kasim (the son of Bade Baba) and told him, "Go to Aurangabad and see Shamsuddin Mia, give him this money, Rs. 2507- let him do Moulu, Kowali and Nyas." Moulu is the singing of devotional songs Kowalis are devotional songs about saints, sung to the accompaniment of Tabla; Nyas is feeding poor people. Baba then told Kasim to go to another fakir,Banne Mia, decorate him with a garland. Thereafter Kasim was to tell Mia "On the ninth day of ninth month, Allah Himself takes away the lamp which He had lit. Such is Allah's mercy." Sai Baba gave him Rs. 250/- and a garland. Kasim pleaded he was a stranger to Aurangabad and so Baba asked Chote Khan to accompany him.

Both Kasim and Chote Khan started for Aurangabad. When they arrived at Aurangabad railway station, Fakir Shamsuddin whom Chote Khan knew had come to the station. He was enquiring "Who are the guests come from Fakir Sai? Chote Khan and Kasim were surprised and bowed to him. Shamsuddin himself repeated the message of Sai Baba, word by word! Then he led the three guests’ home and fed them. With the money sent by Sai Baba, he fed a large number of people. He also performed Kowali and Moulu. By night all this was completed.

Next day, Kasim, started in search of Banne Mia. When they reached his house, they saw him standing still, with one hand raised and the other held down in a trance. There were a few Arabs. They warned the visitors not to approach him, when he was in that state as he would be furious with them. So visitors waited for one hour but Banne Mia showed no sign of regaining awareness. Then Chote khan took the garland which Baba had given them in his hand and put it round the fakir's neck. Then Banne Mia lowered his raised arm, as though he became aware of the arrival of the visitors. So Chote Khan repeated to him the words of Sai Baba, "Ninth day of the ninth month Allah Himself takes away the lamp which He had lit." On hearing the words, Banne Mia gazed at the sky and tears rolled down his eyes.

The party left Aurangabad quite thrilled by the happenings. But they could not understand what it was all about nor had they the courage to ask Baba about it.

The Brick Breaks:
It was October; one day Baba left the mosque on His daily rounds. Madhavan Fasle was sweeping the mosque. He found the brick which was so dear to Baba on the floor. To prevent the dust falling on the holy brick, the boy took it up in his hands but suddenly it slipped, fell down and broke into two. When later Baba saw it, He was depressed and said: "It is not the brick that is broken; it is My destiny."

Shadows of Death:
About the same time Ramachandra Patil, became seriously ill. He was counting his days in despair. Sai Baba appeared before Ramachandra Patil, physically. Patil held His feet firmly and asked Baba to tell him the exact time of his death. Baba was moved and said, "Don't be anxious, your death-warrant has been withdrawn and you will soon be all right; but I am worried about Tatya Patil. He will pass away on the Vijayadashmi day. Do not divulge this to anyone." Indeed Ramachandra Patil recovered, but he was afraid of Tatya's safety.

On the 3rd October 1918, Raghuvir Purandare and H. S. Dixit were at Shirdi but Baba sent them to Bombay. He said: "I will go ahead and you follow Me." He gave them permission saying "My turbot (tomb) will speak, my muff (dust) will give you replies; My name will speak." As the terrible day neared, Tatya fell ill and was bed-ridden. Though Baba was also down with fever, Tatya had full faith in Baba that He would save his life.

Tatya's condition worsened and at one stage Tatya felt his end was certain. He was getting udi regularly from Baba. One day Baba summoned Tatya. As Tatya could not walk, he was carried thither by a devotee. Then Baba gave him rice boiled in milk which he ate with difficulty. Baba looked enquiringly at Tatya, applied udi to Tatya's forehead and said, "Tatya at first I got two swings ready for both of us. But now I've changed My mind. I don't want to take you now. I am going alone, Go home!" Then Baba gave him udi and Tatya was taken home.

During this period, Baba made one Mr. Vaghe read 'Rama Vijaya' once in a week. Next, Baba made him go through it a second time, non-stop in three days. A third round was also finished. When the man was exhausted Baba let him go and observed silence.

It was four days to go for Vijayadashami. Mrs. Andu Marwadi was sitting before Him, and then Baba told her, "Bat, I am tired of Dwarakamayi and Chavadi. I will go over to the Booty's wada where big people will look after Me." At that time Baba's health was far from satisfactory. He stopped His trips to Lendi and His begging rounds and sat in the mosque.

He told them that He did not feel well there and asked them to take Him to the Dagdi (stone) wada to Booty. Saying these last words, he leaned on Bayaji's body and breathed His last. Bhagoji noticed that His breathing stopped and told Nanasaheb Nimonkar who was sitting below. Nanasaheb then brought a little water and poured it in Baba's mouth but it all came out. Then Nanasaheb burst out weeping.

It was a terrible blow to the countless devotees and the whole of Shirdi felt like a corpse with its spirit gone. The news spread fast and the whole village rushed to the mosque weeping and crying. Strangely, Tatya recovered very rapidly and could sit up by noon. Devotees felt that Sai made the supreme sacrifice of His life to save Tatya from certain death. For did not Sai say that He would even give His own head to save His devotee?

Samadhi or death?
Mrs. M. W. Pradhan, one of Sai Baba's devotees records her experience:
The night after Baba's departure, I saw His body in a dying condition in my dream and said, 'Baba is dying'. Baba replied, 'People do not talk of saints as dying, but as taking samadhi'. His body was still. People were mourning. Such was the dream. I felt sad. I woke up at 12-30 midnight. In the morning we got from Anna Chinchinikar a post-card that Baba passed away at 3-00 p.m. on holy Dasserah, 15-10-1918."

On the day following His Mahasamadhi i.e., on 16th of October, Baba appeared to Das Ganu in his dream at Pandharpur and said, "The masjidhas collapsed; all the oil men and grocers of Shirdi have teased Me a lot; so I left the place. I therefore came to inform you here; go there quickly and cover Me with Bhakkal flowers." Das Ganu came to Shirdi and started bhajan and kirtan before Baba's samadhi which he garlanded. Later he fed a large number of people in Baba's name.

A little later Baba appeared in the dream of another lady and told her to send the pitamber (light yellow silk dhoti) in her trunk to cover Hissamadhi. So she did. When the thirteenth day after the samadhi neared He appeared in the dream of yet another devotee and told him to celebrate the day.

Thus Baba rightly declared:
"I shall be alive and vigorous from the tomb also."
"Even after My Mahasamadhi, I shall be with you the moment you think of Me at any place."
And He stands by His word even today. And that is taking samadhi."
"It is Death that's dead, not He!"
To live is, in itself, a value judgment to breathe is to judge.

WORSHIPPING THE FEET OF THE GURU

Guru lives in Padukas. A devotee should pray “O my Guru, wherever my mind goes, may your form be there. Wherever my head bows in salutation, may your feet be there.” The Guru continuously tests the devotees. It is very dangerous for the devotees to look on the Guru as an ordinary man. The devotee must think that the Guru is higher than Shiva, Vishnu or Brahma. If one thinks that the Guru is the physical form and activities, then it becomes very easy for doubts to infiltrate the citadel of devotion, and after a while, to completely overcome it. The Guru Geeta also says that the Guru’s feet have two different lusters – one is white and other is red – representing Shiva and Shakti. Shiva is associated with the white color, and Shakti, the divine energy with the red color.
In these feet of Guru, Shiva and Shakti live as one and through them the disciple realizes the unity. He sees Shiva and Shakti as red and white lights shining through the Guru’s feet. The Guru’s feet should be worshiped everyday, for by their means one easily realizes the immanent and transcendent aspect of Shiva (form and formlessness aspects). Their luster radiates in the upper spaces of Sahasrara Chakra.
SAI SADGURU : In this Kaliyuga, the very Lord Dattatreya manifested himself as Shirdi Sai Baba, who was in fact the embodiment of knowledge absolute. Here the lord himself came as Sai Sadguru … Saibaba effortlessly guided disciples on the path of achieving self realization. We realize the importance and need of a Guru, the significance of Guru Padukas, the teachings of Sadguru Sai, the principles followed by him and the messages taught by him. The Guna and the Nirguna aspects of his Padukas would all be understood and remembered with reverence. Baba made lives of his devotees sublime.
“ The Guru’s feet are worshipped or revered because all the Guru’s shakti dwells in the feet. If you did research into this, you would find that the vibrations of the inner self constantly flow out through the feet. The nerves that come from the Sahasrara reach right down to the feet. The feet serve as the support for the whole body. This is the reason the feet are given so much importance. More shakti flows form the feet than any other part of the body, the glory of the Guru’s feet for the Guru’s sandals is great. Kularnava Tantra says: “Remember the Guru’s sandals … They provide protection against great diseases, great disturbances, great evils, great fears, great calamities, and great sins,”

SWAMI SAMARTH AND SAI MAHARAJ

The early life of Swami Samarth like that of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba is shrouded with mystery. For that matter, even Shri Shirdi Sai Baba's advent and early life has not been established. For the devotees of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba, it would be inspiring to learn about the life and deeds of 'Swami Samarth'. A comparative picturisation of the lives of these two great Saints, i.e. Swami Samarth and Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi would establish a surprising amount of commonness in their lives and deeds which includes their methods of teaching, the universality of their approach and the miracles they performed. Even a critical approach by a non-conformist would ultimately lead to the assertion that the over-all role of these two spiritual masters during the second half of the nineteenth century was similar, if not same. One, who is capable of making finer spiritual analysis, would be faced with a bewildering reality. The reality is that Swami Samarth and Shri Shirdi Sai Baba were the manifestations of the same Divine Spirit in two gross bodies

WHY DO YOU GO TO SHIRDI SAI TEMPLE

Why do you come to the temple of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba? Is it because:
* You love Baba so much that at least without His symbolic presence, life seems meaningless to it.
* Take some time out of your busy schedule and come to Baba’s temple for generating a better state of mind by praying, singing aarti and doing pooja (worship) etc.
* You have too many problems around you in the practical world surrounding you and cannot fight it and therefore run to the temple for getting blessings of Baba.
* You have problems and want to solve it through Baba’s grace within the desired period and in the desired method.
* Do you remember Baba having said that all the seeds planted need not necessarily become trees. Are you prepared to believe that you may not get as much result as you wish by coming to the temple.
* Whatever you offer to Baba, are they out of your honest income?
* Do you think it is proper to make presents to Baba out of the dishonest income.
* Don’t you remember that Baba had refused to take Gold and silver presents from a queen who had come in a palanquin but had accepted a single roti with an onion from an old lady.
* Are you coming to temple to satisfy your sentimental requirements at the cost of your family members and other dependants? Don’t you remember Baba had forced Mhalsapati to go and stay with family because he was coming and staying at Dwakamai.
* Do you come to the temple to socialize because you have known people there and to gossip about things. Don't you think it is useless wastage of time to talk, discuss topics pertaining to issues other than that of Baba.
* Don’t you think that it is better to spend tour time in meditating on Baba, praying, participating in aarti or by reading books like Sai Satcharitra etc.
* Since no one is perfect, Don’t you think it is improper to think of the imperfection of others or gossip about them in the temple? Don’t you remember that Baba had told one person in the temple that like a pig eating dirty food, some people find fault in others.
* Do you think that your devotional level is higher than that of others and therefore criticize about others way of worshipping.
* Don’t you agree with Shri Sai saying that we meet people and face problems because of rinanubandh i.e. debt of the past life. If we believe in this saying of Baba then isn’t it required of us to accept our own problems and not always cry and fret about the same.
* Do you have the amount of Patience (Saburi) and Faith (Shraddha) needed to come closer to Baba. Do you think that your Shraddha is constant or it changes with problems and situations?
* Baba always advised people to develop qualities of kindness, impartiality, sympathy, tolerance and sacrifice to others. How much sacrifice do you do for others at your own cost? Do you think that whatever little sacrifice you think you do is enough?
* Do you remember Baba having said that that when two persons are fighting, the person that doesn’t hurt the others or tolerates the negatives is dearer to me. Do you do so?
* Do you think that unbridled sentimentally which includes crying and shouting etc. are required in the spiritual path? Don’t you know by such sentiments, you, at time cause harm to others and contaminate good atmosphere. Is it not better to contain your emotionality within yourself and not make a public display of it to establish your devotional fervor.
* You want yourself to be sympathetically dealt by others and also to be understood. Don’t you think that others also would be expecting the same from you. Do you do so?
* Do you think that by being jealous about others improvements even in the devotional field, you gain anything?
* Whatever work you do for Baba, are you doing it honestly and with intensity i.e. purity of thought, or do you do it in a casual manner?
* We want Shri Sai to take care of all our problems but do we equally try to even do a fraction of his work perfectly for his cause.
* Do you think the blessings of God will come to you when you don’t qualify for it, breaking the law of karma i.e. action and reaction syndrome?
* Don’t you think it is proper that you first work for his cause, which qualifies for his blessings.
* If you really want to have the blessings of Baba and life peacefully along with your fellow men, at first improve your own qualities on the lines indicated in the preceding paragraphs.
